Does getting a dental implant or an extraction hurt?

The procedure itself is done with local anesthesia, so the area is fully numb, and most patients tell us it was far easier than they expected — often more comfortable than the toothache that brought them in. Afterward, mild soreness for a few days is normal and manageable with over-the-counter pain relief and the aftercare instructions we send home with you.
